We provide clinical services such as Psychology, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy for children, young people and adults living with a disability. These services aim to strengthen the functional skills of each individual to increase their access to the community and promote an inclusive community environment. Clinical services utilise a wide range of professionals that can assist and support children, young people adults living with a disability in a number of key areas by focusing on:
- Issues of attachment and trauma and developing emotional regulation
- Positive behaviour support
- Health care assessments and planning
- Receptive and expressive language development
- Developmental assessments and supports.
Clinical services through specific training and support also play a key role in developing and supporting carers and staff working directly with children, young people and adults living with a disability to maintain quality practices. Support occurs on a planned, regular basis and is tailored to the needs of the person and their carers.
